Hello,
For the past few weeks I've been trying to develop my Twitter skills and build followers (@feverama) along with my store inventory. I tweeted a few items (from Webstore and eBay) and within minutes I saw a significant increase in views but no sales yet. I know it is a slow process so I will keep at it as I encourage all to do. I surely would suggest that some might want to get a Twitter account for promotional purposes. I've also started to include by Webstore.com address (http://stormseller.Webstore.com) in the 'message to buyer' box on the Paypal receipt that's sent to buyers for anything I might sell on eBay (very few items). I also found a site that retweets automatically the few followers that I can list on it. At the moment it seems to limit me to only 15 followers so I will explore how I might increase this number somehow. On my Webstore page I also encourage people to check out other Webstore.com sites as well as mine. I may not sign-in or post to this forum each time, but I do check in often to see what's going on.
As always, good luck to all webstore.com owners,
stormseller

Nice to hear from you stormseller. Tweeting just takes practice. Are you on Pinterest, that is also an excellent networking tool. Since I sell glassware I love Pinterest because the actual pictures of my beautiful glass is seen by many.
You might want to check out ebaynomore. It is a FB site where we all work together to build up our businesses on alternate sites to ebay. You can learn a lot about networking there. All are welcome you just cannot promote ebay there, hence the name ebaynomore. Several of us on ebaynomore are working hard to promote webstore.com.
Good luck with yuor sales.

Hello hazeleyes767, Nice to hear from you also. I do check in just about every day to see if there is anything new. Yes, tweeting takes some practice but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I discovered a thing called Hootsuite which allows me to schedule tweets up to (I believe) 6 months in advance. I, of course. use the free version. I will take your advice and check out Pinterest and ebaynomore. Still no sales on Webstore.com location but plenty of views on things that are tweeted, so it does have an effect. Just need to convert some of those views into sales. Good luck with your sales and every other Webstore.com members. See you soon! stormseller

I have been randomly pinning and tweeting people from the webstore site, but it seems they do not reciprocate, maybe they do not know how. I have even sent private messages inviting them to this forum, but very few responses. I wish there was some way of know if anyone is selling on webstore.com. The darkside (my name for ebay) is getting scary. I guess sometime this spring they are rolling out some new search called Cassini. It appears it will leave a small seller like me out in the cold. That is why I am trying to get webstore noticed. It would be great to see it start producing customers. Good luck and thanks for posting here.

Stormseller, I went to your Webstore site and tweeted a couple of your items. And, I am now following you on Twitter. Do you use Google+?

Hello abigdogmom, Thank you so much for the tweets and the follow on Twitter. This forum might be small in number (so far) but the quality of the members is can't be measured. I am trying to determine how the more successful Webstore shops are doing. I would like to see specific numbers but haven't found them yet. The potential for Webstore.com seems enormous to me, so as long as I can, I will stick with it. The big time (for all of us) might be right around the corner.
Thanks again, stormseller

Hello (again) abigdogmom,
I forgot to answer your question so: No, at the moment I don't use Google+.

Stormseller, I am abigdogmom_ on Twitter (yes, there is a '_' at the end-don't know how it happened, but I kept it). If you use #TeamWebstore in your tweets you will be easier to find. I do a search to bring up everyone that is using it so I can catch everyone when I am tweeting. Helen, I am putting your name into Google+ to make sure I get your posts. Your glass is gorgeous and should be shared with everyone. I certainly hope it helps.

Just an FYI for everyone trying to network together and help promote webstore. I always put #teamsellit #webstore on my tweets and everything. If you are interested in tweeting fellow webstore people to help promote the name, in twitter search box type in webstore.com and all the people who have tweeted webstore items will appear. I did last night and retweeted everyone listed. Makes it a bit easier. I am trying to get the word out to use the hash tag #webstore so even in the regular tweets we can recognize each other. It sure would be great to see webstore.com get lots of sales for all of us. Thanks for visiting our forum.
